You are right the 6th day creatation was mankind Gen 1:27 (both male & female) and then after the 7th day is when Adam is formed.  At first I thought it was repeat of Gen 1:27 but in reading Gen 2:20 no help meet for Adam was found so he created Eve.  If Adam was the very 1st man then it would make no sense to even look, so the only place that God could have been looking for a help meet for Adam would have to be a female from the 6th day creation.  Who did Cain marry?  Who was Cain speaking of when he said everyone?  It all points to other humans before Adam.  Biblical Adam no older than 7000 bc, but science aligns with mankind perhaps as early as 12,000 bc, Something else I found interesting, in Gen 1:28  Be fruitful and multiple and REPLENISH the earth.  My Webster's defines replenish as to make full again with like supply. 3) repeople   Would you care to comment regarding replenish?

I read an interesting trivia item regarding Sept 11th in history, it said...  "According to Hebrew sciptures September 11, 1999 was the 6,000th anniversary of Adam's creation and year 1 on the Hebrew calendar."  Which I then calculated as being 4001 bc.  When I tried to fact check it, I ran into confusion as to number of days in Hebrew calendar years, lunar cycles ect. and was given a 2nd date.  October 7, 3761 bc.  I don't know that either date is correct, but in my response above I ballparked Adam's creation at 7000 bc max.  Being unable to edit my response I would like to say aprox 4000 bc seems more correct than 7000 bc for Adam & Eve.

Your findings do confirm what I have found. You are staring at the truth but not seeing it. God is a woman. She created the women first and then She created the men to keep them company. Eve was the first incarnation of God and Adam was meant to be Hers.

Adam reincarnated into Abraham, Jesus and Mohammed. Eve reincarnated into Sarah, Mary Magdalene and Khadijah. 2012 seems to be the end of times and also to be the time of truth. Therefore it probably is no coincidence that I found this out very recently.

Bart's comments are very different from mainstream beliefs. I almost get the feeling that he's being sarcastic, mocking the New Age Goddess movement by conflating it with Biblical lore. However, if he really feels this way, then I am the first to tell him as long as his beliefs propel him to treat others kindly and give him comfort, then fine.

I believe in evolution, and I appreciate that newwoman54 acknowledges that science reveals a much older world. However, I also think that the Garden of Eden may have existed, long after human beings made their first appearance 30,000 to 100,000 years ago. God may have wanted to get the ball rolling in terms of making himself known to the people he had created, and the Garden of Eden incident may have been the way he chose to do that. That would explain why there were other pre-existing people who posed a threat to the murderous Cain. There was no mention of other children of Adam and Eve until Seth (Abel's replacement). I don't know, though. My scientifically inclined mind says that the story sounds more allegorical than literal.

I have a question. What makes you think that it's 'common sense' that we don't all derive from Adam and Eve? Research into mitochondrial DNA would seem to trump the belief that we all descended from a mixed pairing of homosapiens. What do you make of this?

I sometimes feel, that most of the worlds people, are living in a dream state. And that in itself, is scary too. To awb: Did chronological events occur after the listed 7 days, "time spans"? Yes. Did God continue working, after he rested? Yes. How long is a day to The Lord? Is it the same as a day to mankind? These are questions you seem to have. As do many others. BUT. Can you not agree with the fact that 'eth-Ha-'a-dam came AFTER God created the 6th day creations, and, AFTER he rested on the 7th day?

Well according to my bible(KJV or NIV) Adam was created and/or formed on the 6th day. I see where you guys are coming from and all are good questionable points but I really believe you are mistaken. As I read it ...as Moses wrote the accounts of the events he would write more or less a summary or end result in one verse then go back and give a more detailed acount in the following verses. Notice the very first several verses. He does this repeatedly. So when he talks about Adam, all he is doing is giving a more detailed description of how God made man, when He made man on the 6th day. It's not a whole new day. As I said he list the days 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 period. If there had been an 8th day ..I'm sure he would have said "On the 8th day God...."

It doesn't say "THE" Adam, it says Adam. Now we are still in chapter 2. This is where you are saying is the 8th day and Adam was created apart from the people created on the 6th day. Now notice in v.20 after he names the cattle, beast and fowl, there was not an help meet for him. Then in following verses it tells how God made Eve. Now in v.23 Adam said she shall be called Woman. Ok so before this there couldn't have been a woman. Agree?

But you didnt answer my question. According to the scriptures I said, There was no female until God created Eve and Adam said she shall be called woman. Also just prior tp that there was no one for Adam until then. Isn't that correct based on those verses? And is'nt this also the time frame you are calling the 8th day and just after? Ok there is some confusion here: 1) I don't beleive in the 8th day. you do. 2) I'm trying to get you to understand why I say you are mistaken. Male and female were created on the 6th day. Adam and Eve. they were the very first man and woman. The bible does not say when the ethnic groups came about other than the closet thing that even comes to it is when Noah sons separated and go to their own nation whith their own speech and language. God gave Man Domain over the living creatures. It says that and it says it before he mentions Adam but Thats why Adam was allowed to name the creatures. Adam (the man, 1st man) Eve (the 1st female which Adam called woman)..when and if you see "race" it reffers to Human Race not ethnic.

moses did not write the torah in hebrew. furthermore, if you are lucky to find a version of the Bible closer to when it was translated from hebrew and greek, then you will find a disclaimer stating that the writers did the best that they could to translate, but its important to reference the original language. Take for example spanish, which is derived from latin, like greek. "Como te llamas?" llamar is "to call/ to name" the te and the "-as" at the end of the base llam(ar) gives you the who is being "named/ called". in this example the "te" and "-as", refer to the personal "you". if i were to say "como se llama" , the "se" could refer to "he, she, or it". now someone that may understand some spanish would be able to eek out a translation when reading it, but would need to study the context to fully comprehend the meaning. thus, if u want to fully understand the Bible, you MUST have greek/ hebrew dictionary/ concordence. and above all pray that the lord give you the wisdom to understand and ask Him to open your eyes and heart to the truth. Dont take any mans words other than Gods, if we allow ourselves to take mans word for things then we will be easily mislead. please read for yourselves and study the origins of your english translated Bibles.

I can't add anything more then what others have already said. Even in the worsely translated texts, if one reads the story from beginning to end, without quote mining, it's as plain as day.

When Cain was cast out, he feared what the other races would do to him if they ever found out what he had done.

Sorry to those that have been lied to. But the races were made on the sixth day... both Men and Women = WOMBmen. Cain and Abels parents, were made separately, at a different time.

The truth is hidden in bad translations and transliterations. Not to mention the cognitive programming that society has placed on the words ADAM and EVE. I also blame mens traditions, arrogance, and self desires, for disrupting the truth. But the fact remains... this should not be new and surprising, because that's exactly what happened when Christ came. Look at who took part in crucifying Christ; and why. Look at how they felt about it afterwards. Do you think the Greeks decided to believe in a Jewish God for no reason? Statues of Christ in South America. The cross so symbolic. I suggest believers begin seeking the utter truth. Because you will be tested from those that are tired of all the lies, arrogance, and blasmephy. The Atheist agenda is rearing it's head into schools these days. You better be able to discern what God stands for...versus what men said he stood for. It's easier to say, God does not exist... and point the finger at the 5 out of 7 churches that do not teach the truth. And yes, that figure is Biblical. Knowing what numbers mean biblically is important as well 6 means the number of man or mankind; the number 8 means a new beginning. Eve is called the mother of all living because through her umbilical cord to umbilical cord eternal life did come, Jesus Christ. Look at the story of the bible as a husbandman(farmer=GOD) would; planting the holy seed(Christ), wheat and tares, replinish, be fruitful...The TRUTHS are there you just have to have the eyes to see and ears to hear.

I think all of of you have forgotten about Noah and the flood. The first world was destroyed by water and all life forms were anialated except for those on the Ark including man and animals according to the same Bible creation account you are discussing. So it is only logical that we all desended from Noah and his three sons. However in the old world before the flood people lived much longer so Adam and Eve would have had many children besides Cain and Able and logically, with simple mathematics around 365 children and those children would have had children and so on until the world was heavily populated very quickly. Also other Bible scripture states we all came from a single man named Adam, 1 Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." Jesus Christ is clearly one man and not a whole multitude of men.

In this next verse it states the first (singular form) man was Adam and the last adam speaking of Jesus is also in the singular form.

1 Corinthians 15:45

And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

These scriptures plus others pretty much debunk the eighth day creation theory which that is not even mentioned in the same Bible.

Please be careful what you are trying to teach newwoman54 as it is REFERRED TO AS HERESY, because it is not found in the bible. The bible is clear when it states only Noah, his wife and his sons and their wives entered the ark. No where does it say anyone else entered besides these eight people. Please read and study the bible (KJV) as you say you have.

The races did come from the tower of babel according to the scriptures and you are trying to say that no one was destroyed in the flood and every human on earth was in the ark. That is complete nonsense. If there were races they would have been destroyed in the flood plain and simple. Noah and his family did not make up the different races. God made the different races after the flood. Please read your bible and not the apocgraphy literature. Yes God did destroy all living flesh except for the eight people on the ark and the animals God sent to Noah. It says all living flesh was destroyed on the earth not preserved! That would mean God failed to destroy the contaminated blood line of the Angelic-Human gene. God does not fail at anything and he caused the flood to correct the problem and not to preserve it.

The nations descended from Noah, this is what the bible teaches. I copied and pasted it strait from the New King James Bible and I now rest my case. If you cannot believe the Bible then you will certainly not believe me. The purpose of confusing their language at the tower of babel was to spread humanity across the globe and in doing so adaptation set in that caused the developement of physical change due to the different climates and the availablity of food in each climate (you are what you eat).

Noah was instructed to bring the animals two by two male and female on to the Ark with him. Noah and his family were the only humans on the ark along with the animals, period.

Genesis 6:19-20

19 And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. 20 Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.

I suspect you will try to continue your argument even after it has already been debunked just for the sake of winning the argument. One should teach what the the bible teaches and not try to add anything to it. When one does it becomes heresy (the maintaining of such an opinion or doctrine in opposition to the scriptures that have already been established). Well, i have to say that what Raider said is plausible. I mean, try staying over a room with an AC @ 16 degrees Celsius, without getting under direct sunlight for about a month or more and your skin would turn white gradually. While some white men do get a tan on beaches, right? Our body does "adapt" to environment changes. And perhaps prolonged exposure to such environs (e.g. "permanent settlement on one place") would then modify DNA imprints over generations, including skin color.

I agree completly with what Raider said. Also at the beginning of the "disscussions" about Cain. Cain could've been 200-something or older when he killed Abel, so that leaves about 200-something or more years for Adam and Eve to have children. Cain could've married his sister or his niece (it wasn't wrong back then for that to happen, how else could they have populated the earth?). Also about the fruit, people just "assume" it was an apple or a pear or some kind of popular fruit, we don't know what kind it was. It could've been a pomagranite for all we know.

About Noah, why would God put more people, other than Noah's family, on the boat if He said that He was going to destroy all mankind on the earth??

What I can't see, is why you think that there is an 8th day!! In the Bible it says nothing about an 8th day. After the Bible says that God rested on the 7th day (Gensis 2:2-3), it says (2:4) "This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens." Then it goes on and gives detail about how God made Adam. Like it says, "This is the account of when God made the earth and heavens." Nowhere, ABSOLUTLY nowhere does it make mention of an 8th day.

And that's all I have to say about the so-called "8th day". So whether you choose to believe this "truth" or not, it's not my decision. But I do know what is the true and right thing to believe in is. The only thing I can do about your choice, is I can pray that God will move in your heart and show you what is correct and what is false.

You're right. The bible doesn't say the word "Rapture" but it does say in Revalation that "the church will meet with Christ in the sky". The reason that the Bible doesn't have the word "Rapture" is because that word is relativly new. You can probably go back into the old Webster dictionaries and u might not be able to find it until like maybe the 1900s. But we aren't talking about the Rapture. It's wierd how someone, who thinks their right but they aren't, can change a subject so fast!!

thought i chime in a little on your discussion...

where do i begin well... I love how people think it was okay for incest to take place back then but is not okay today...Incest is sinful and i doubt god would use that as a catalyst for being about human populations.

i have heard that before..that incest occured on a massive scale and that human genes were pure and that made it okay...id advise those that subscribe to that to read about inbreeding coefficient...in the first generation depending on the cross you can have up to 25% chance of the offspring have "bad" dna(likelyhood of the allele that are the same being paired up) and that increases with generation.

also, i see that some users have implied the bible says things that aren't even there like Cain marrying a sibling or niece of his in the land of NOD. it doesn't say that in the bible at all...it doesn't say who cain's wife is actually. nor does it say anything significant about Adam and eve's children. This is very interesting. If you look at it in it's entirety, God gave his first commandment to Adam (His chosen person). Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat but of the tree in the midst of the garden, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou mayest NOT eat of it for in the day thou eatest of it, thou shalt surely die. Who were the commandments given to? God's chosen people!! It also says, God formed Adam out of the dust of the ground, and He prepared a garden East of Eden and put the man who He had formed in the garden to dress it and keep it. Sounds like a promised land to me. Then after he sinned (disobeyed the commandment), God made him leave the promised blessed land.

Yes. All through the old testament, God was never concerned about all the other nations. Israel is and always has been, and always will be the apple of His eye. The apple of His eye in Hebrew means His pupil. It's all He sees. Through Adam all were born into sin, but, through Christ all are born into everlasting life, all who accept Him!!

Read the book. Then we can debate it. Man did not come from the apes, certainly not from the apes of today. The apes and the Homo Sapiens have common ancestry going back about 3-4 million years. There have also been at least two species of Homo (humans) occupying the Earth at the same time (well, the Neanderthal is older, but there is an overlap :-)). The Neanderthal man was a distinct human species from us. It wasn't always obvious, but recent DNA comparison shows clear differences at a speciation level.

Also, there is no way of knowing what day Adam was created. God rested on the 7th day. But the bible does not say what day everything after that happened. Adam could have be created on the 9th day, the 10th day, the 11th day, etc. There is no way to know how much time elapsed between God's rest and Adam's creation.

One more thing to point out...

Races DO arrive through evolution. If you examine someone's DNA, you will see the genes for each trait. There are genes for hair color, eye color, nose size & shape, height, etc. If the same group of people continue to breed together, there will not be much variation, and their offspring will look very much like the rest of the group. However, if you take one race (let's say asian) and breed them with another race (let's say african), their child is not going to come out looking 100% african or 100% asian. If enough asians breed with enough africans, then their offspring breed, then their offspring breed, then their offspring breed, etc., you will eventually have a whole new race.

Human races are no different than breeds of dogs. All dogs share a common ancestor: the wolf (or, as you might say, a wolf like species that wolves also evolved from, however, since not much time has elapsed, we still consider the wolf ancestor to be a wolf, unlike the human/ape ancestor that lived millions of years ago). To completely understand the evolution from wolf to dog takes a lot more explaining, and I'd be happy to share this information with you, if you care to hear it. However, once you understand how this occurred, then it's not so hard to understand how multiple human races formed from just one race.

Btw...I thought I'd throw a little light on your "other humans in the ark" theory.

For starters, it does not say anywhere that Noah took other humans (other than his family) onto the Ark with him.

Secondly:

Genesis 9

18And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

19These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

The Bible says that the whole earth was overspread by his three sons. Which means the only males left were Noah, his children, and his children's children. This tells us that he did not take any other men on to the ark with him.

Absolutely correct, newwoman54. The two are mutually exclusive. Limited regional flood around 2500 BC, probably did occur, but there is no geological evidence for a global flood. It also makes no sense to expect spread of population of the entire Earth following the Tower of Babel that according to the biblical genealogy would have been between 2100 and 2300 BC. That was a bronze age, far advanced to, say hunter/gatherers such as the population of Australia, New Zealand, or Polynesia. How did they get there, why are they anthropologically so different, why did they not bring their Babylonian culture with them...

BTW, natural history including evolution does not fall under the heading of "belief". You learn it and make effort to understand it based on the evidence, not faith.

In Genesis 1:1-2:3 we have the book of creation, but all that was created (bara) had not yet been formed (yatsar). The earth He created was formless and void, the plant life and vegetation had not yet sprouted (because there was not a man nor rain, only a mist)and mankind when formed (though created male and female at the same time) was formed sequentially, the male first.

Bara is to call forth as in ones mind, to first concieve that which has never before been concieved. And yatzar is to give materiality to or form to (to make materially). Genesis 2:4 on is the book of formation, when He took this creation and brought it into temporal reality by giving it material form. We being made in the image of God do likewise...we create or design or think of something to place things on and see it in our mind, our logos, and then we give the ideation form by making it a temporal reality (we build it).

The difference is that the Lord does not require pre-existent materials (though He used the same elements the earth was made of, i.e., the dust of the ground)and we do, because we are not God or gods, but mankind a creature made in His image

Also I have to disagree. There is ample evidence of a global flood only it is far too vast to demonstrate in this type of forum. But I will give the anthropological evidence. There are over 200 legends of a world wide flood from which one family or group was spared and landed some sort of craft on a mountain to repopulate the world. These come from every ontinent and major peoples. 58 from just the native americans spanning the two continents from long before they ever met a Christian, Jew, or heard of the Bible. This alone, though legend in most cases, demonstrates that something of this catacysmic nature happened in ancient times. There are three from China and one from India, 12 from the African continent, all likewise from before they ever heard of a Noah story. Now then, I wish I could show you the overwhelming amount (pages upon pages) of geological evidences but alas there is no room here.

If "The Adam" from the 8th day of creation was "Adam"(man) from the 6th day and chap. 2 of Genesis was a recap of the creation then how could you say God thought what he made was good after Adam and Eve disobeyed Him.

The evidence is pretty much there, there is a 6th day or creation that created mankind and the 8th day creation which was the creation of Adam(transliterated) the man. Why is the 8th day important?? Well 8 in biblical numerology mean infinity or eternal. And through Adam we all will have Eternal Life because through Adam would come Christ. The whole reason for Noah's flood was to get rid of the fallen angels that polluted the blood line of Christ. Why? Because with out that blood line no one would have eternal salvation. Noah's flood did not destroy the whole world, it only destroyed the Niphilim and even then there was a 2nd influx of them.

Evolution is a joke, I remember hearing that the chance of evolution actually happened would be as likely as a tornado going through a junkyard and constructing the titanic. The Bible clearly states the world is older than most creationists claim and if evolution was happening it would be occurring and we would see something by now. DNA may be similar but doesn't make the same. Look at DNA as a computer language. All computer languages have the same elements but different programs use the same elements differently.

The Bible is truth and if you understand just a little bit of it you will know exactly whats going on in these End Times. This topic is really not that big of a deal to argue about and get heated up about but I believe newwoman54 is dead on about this. The evidence is there, there is no possible way Adam and Eve could of had enough kids to populate the entire earth even a region before Cain slew Abel.

Ok I have read all the above post comments.

I am a believer. God Created everything and he did it in an orderly fashion.

God is not a God of chaos or confusion. But the Bible was written in different languages and is hard to translate for some words which does mean you have to go back to root word to decipher the meaning.

I was 12 years old sitting in LDS church when we studing Genesis. I at that age realized that all mankind could not come for just one man and one woman... Way too much diversity in all the races in the world to even think this is possible. Even in a childs mind. When I posed the question to my teacher .... he told me that the devil was making me think that... hmmm... not! it was my spirit trying to tell me that the teaching was wrong.

If God created male and female alike on the 6th day, then rested on the 7th day.... which as it is written:

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

And any Judo-Christian beliefs is that for each day of creation was a thousand years.

How then could God speak to Adam and Eve in the garden if he was resting... much less punishing them by exile from the Garden for not being obedient to God and sinning. And if you do believe in the 6th day creation when Adam and Eve were created then from what time did God rest after he created them much less all the other events that occurred in the bibical timeline from the Bible itself.... Which means God was resting until say the days of Lamech.

There is no fossil record of evolution in process were the genetic mutations take place... so all of a sudden after Noah every body started looking different.... the time line is not there! so in a few hundread years mankind looked all the same in each geographic region. Then why since the crucifixation, which was 2010 years ago do we look the same now for each race. WE maybe heavy or taller. But the races still look the same. Until you account for inter-racial mixing which is not a DNA evolution.

There are 3 dispensations accounted for in the Bible which make sense.

1- Genesis 1:1 God created the heavens and the earth.(simple - notice the gap in in verse 1 and 2 if you have a KJ Companion Bible)

2- in Jewish bible manuscripts it reads: Genesis 1:2

Now the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters.

which means there was something there before hand. The earth is billions of years old..

3 The final dispensation will be when Jesus returns to rules over Earth as the new heaven. For where God is there is heaven.

I don't know about all you folks out there but I kind of think it is more important where you end up rather than what you think is right or wrong with doctrinal teachings of the Bible.

I myself was taught Rapture doctrine. By more than 1 Non-dominational church. But my spirit tells me I have a work to do for God and how can I do that if I am taken away... God didn't spare his son hardships are we better than he is ... I think not.. I was also taught that one day I could be a God with my own planet... if I did everything right... oh then I found out because I was a female I could be pregnant forever...there alot of people teaching the Bible by their own best interpretation or someone elses.

There a lot of good people in each belief.

We are all brothers at heart because we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and his work on the cross and the salvation he gave us.

When i let the bible read me i caught that so easily and i caught the fact of Cain finding his wife and i said the same thing how could he have a wife if Adam and Eve were the first two duuuhh. lol. Clearly the bible indicates a sixth day creation of man and the creation of a second Adam for a specific purpose after the day of rest. What disturbs me is the elephant in the room. I refer to the subject of race. Those who expouse these truths seem to use them to set themselves apart by maintaining that eth Ha-Adam's race is the important thing here. It indicates as well that without speaking it that the sixth day man is considered the Non-white the lesser man.While Eth Ha-Adam is considered Caucasion "ruddy complected" or red in the face. What is even more strange is in our history ruddy complected or men with red in the face were widely considered to be Native Americans or Indians all but wholly masacred by the very race claiming the bloodline of the annointed.So is it also being inferred that among the races of the sixth day creation there were no Caucasions in any region of our father's creation or the world as a whole until Eth Ha-Adam.Are Caucasions to be considered origionally middle-eastern, last time I checked Isreal is a Middle-eastern country and the regional birthplace of Yeshua.This arrogance speaks to the sin nature of man and is steeped in foolish pride.In a country as blessed as this one hatred and discrimination based on the distorted suppositions of people who pervert the truth and want minorities to believe they're race is the chosen one while we lowly Nephesh are just along for the ride to salvation is sad.

You take what I have said out of context!I didn't say I believe that there were no caucasions created on the sixth day. What I said was that there are a lot of people who want the world to believe that.Which is in large part the root of a lot of the problems which exist between the races today.The roots of hatred and discrimination come from this because of what was taught to their children and children's children.You yourself have said you once believed the false doctrine about blacks, and the curse of Canaan. The concept is not new nor is it the view held only by a pocket of the so called devout. We can't ignore that not long ago in this country that groups of people were considered less than human and were marginalised with the blessings of our elected government having been influenced by new religions and denominations of the same. Also look at Genesis 2:19 "And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air..."

So not only is there two places where man/men are created, but animals too.

And if *every* animal was created after the 7th day, what were the animals in Gen. 1?

Looking at it that way, one could also say that every man was created out of the ground in Gen. 2 and that all of us descend from that Adam created after the 7th day. What then were those male and females created on the 6th day?

Same deal for plants. *Every* tree was created after the 7th day from the ground.

Gen 2:1 says all the hosts were created by them. Can we look at that as saying any person that will live on the earth has been created by then?

To reconcile this: perhaps each person/animal must be created spiritually, then physically. Gen 1 is the spiritual creation, and Gen 2 is the physical creation.

We are all the spirit children of God. Romans 8:16.

We are also the children of Adam.

John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"

A son of God is simply one who accepts Jesus Christ. The process of accepting is another discussion.

In Gen 6. the wickedness came from sons of God marrying daughters of men, and those daughters had not accepted Jesus Christ. The Lord says his Spirit will not strive with man. When the Spirit leaves people, its their fault, not God's fault.

I can't believe how far this discussion has strayed away from the original topic. There were people created, male and female, on the sixth day. On the 8th day, God created a special man. A man endowed with his spirit. All we have to do is understand the word ethos used before the name Adam. Adam was the beginning of the priestly line. When we read the 6th book of Genesis, we find that Noah was perfect in his generations. In other words, all of his male ancestors didn't mate with the children of Cain, but they married women of the line of Adam and Seth. The offspring of Cain were very diverse in charateristics and attributes. Now, since the scriptures don't state that the sons of Noah didn't marry women from Cain's line, we find an answer to how different races came about. I find it very interesting that two scientist in France classified humans into three categories. They named them Caucasoid, Negroid, and Mongoloid. When we realize that Noah had three sons who could have married three different types of women, then we can easily see how the three basic racial branches were formed. As far as the age of the earth, I am well educated in science, but I believe the Bible is right. After all, there are many pictographs, that were painted by ancient American natives, that have dinosaurs along side of man. I don't believe that they just imagined a T-Rex, Brontosaur, or other dinosaurs. They saw them and painted them upon the rock walls along with men and antelopes. Evolutionist can't explain how or why certain gases only released when specific isotopes come into contact are trapped inside of all granite. In order for this to occur, the granite had to have solidified before the gas could escape. So, it had to happen instantly. There was no long cooling off period. Anyway, I am in full agreement with NewWoman 54, Adam had to have been created on the 8th day. Hey NewWoman54, did you also notice that the Sun was created until the 4th day. This makes one wonder where the light was coming from on the first three days. I believe that the first three days were lit by God's own light just as it will be during the 1000 years in his Kingdom to come.

So basically the gist of the article was that on the sixth day God created man. Then after the seventh day he proceeded to create Adam and Eve. That would answer many questions and in my opinion doesn't contradict the rest of the Bible. As a side note I do believe in evolution and that science and the bible do not contradict one another. It just depends on how you interpret the bible. I'm only 15 and am still trying to confirm my beliefs so this article and the comments helped.

Interpreting the bible? The bible says what it means word for word.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God has created the races of the world. He tells them to have dominion over every living thing that moves upon the earth. This scripture alone rules out evolution. Humans have the mentality to understand. Humans were responsible for the animals of the earth, and to care for them. God commanded them to take dominion over the animals. This dominion makes humans dominant over the creatures of the earth. This scripture also proves, that animals and Humans do not feed or evolve from each other. If so, God would have made animals in the fifth day, with no need to create humans on the 6th day. The humans would simply evolve over time.

You believe in God. You put your faith in God, But, do not give Him credit, for your creation. You must evolve from another species,in which, you would not have the mentality, or ability, to understand His Word or serve God, as you do.

29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

God gives man food that replenishes itself. No need to work the ground to make it grow.

Remember; God promised death to Adam only if Adam sinned. There was no death before the sin. There was no need to work the ground for food, because nothing died. There were no storms to destroy what God had made. This was a perfect world created by GOD!

Genesis 3:17-19 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed [is] the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat [of] it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou [art], and unto dust shalt thou return.

God cursed the ground because of Adam sin, and now man must provide for himself.

Genesis 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life, [I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so.

God tells man what to feed the animals.

31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Finished means completed. This would mean that any other creation outside of the 6th day, would have a very special purpose.

If you will read Luke Ch.3-23-38 you will find that Adam and Eve were created for a divine purpose. However, by alienating their selves from God, they were not worthy to be used for this purpose.

The generation listed in Luke 3:23-38 ends with Jesus

23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was [the son] of Heli,

(Read Luke 24-37)and Begins with God. verse 38: Which was [the son] of Enos, which was [the son] of Seth, which was [the son] of Adam, which was [the son] of God.

Yes, the generation of Adam ends with the death of Jesus Christ and begins with God.

2 Peter 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable WREST, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

The word wrest in the American and Greek dictionary means to twist severely.

The adding and taking away of the scriptures, is a very serious sin. Revelation 22:18

For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall ADD unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Here´s my summary of what I "learned" so far (and still some questions remain...):

In the beginning (whenever that was) God created heaven and earth (Gen 1:1). He made it perfect.

God´s plan was to create man in his own image to have fellowship with. Man should live on and possess the earth, i.e. be the master of the earth.

Lucifer and his angels sinned against God and struck the earth, fell down on earth (was he cast down by God ? ).

Luke 10:18 :

"I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."

The effect was the big "catastrophe" , the earth was hit by a great force, causing a shift of the earth´s axis position from a tropical earth to a zoned earth. The earth shook like a pendulum, causing the Ice Ages.

All life perished..... the earth was without form and void (Gen 1:2) .

God restored life as recorded in the 7 days of creation in Genesis. This time he created new kind of species (no more Dinosaurs), and of course in he did not alter his original plan : creating men (male an female)

His assignment to them (plural ) was :

... and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it (Gen 1:28).

This was it, creation, or rather "re-creation" was finished .

Gen. 2:1:

"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them."

On day 7 He rested.

Obviously on any day later than day 7 , God created Adam (for some reason) and put him in the garden (a specific geographical region of the earth)

God´s loving warning to him (Adam) was pointing to avoid evil (which was in the garden as the serpent, the fallen Satan) , not to yield to it , not to eat of its fruit.

Ultimately Adam did sin, because Satan geguiled Eve, caused her to sin and make Adam sin, too.

As a consequence, Adam and Eve had to leave the garden, so that they should not eat of the fruit of the "Tree of Life".

Eve gave birth to Cain , who killed his brother, was expelled to dwell in the land of Nod.

Cain found a wife, obviously in Nod, obviously a women of the 6th day creation .

Cain build a city, obviously to provide habitation to a larger group of people, who must have been there already and who were not descendants of Adam.

So far, I find it all reasonable, that not every man up to the time of the Flood was an offspring of Adam.

But what about the Flood ?

Was it a local or global phenomenon ?

If it was global and all men were killed, then indeed all mankind of today would be descendants of Noah.

This would mean, that all races would have to have "evolved" over a period of less than 2000 years, if you like take the evolution theory as proof (which I do not believe in).

I think that just the "sinful" part of the Adamic line was destroyed by the Flood, which would lead to the conclusion that the Flood was a local catastrophe.

Hi all

Interesting reading the above comments about Adam being created on the 8th day. Now I am now bible buff and I claim not to be religious but I believe in God and that Jesus Chris died for me so that my relationship with God would be restored and to mirror that relationship with my fellow man with the help of his Spirit.

Here is a posibility regarding the creation of Adam: What better way for God to demonstrate his love, addoration and importance for us by creating Adam as the first living thing. How do I come to this though? Genesis 2 vers 5 talks about no plants being on the earth as there has been no rain, only water rising from the earth. Water and earth. God formed the man from the dust and gave him the breath of live and his Spirit. Think this was day 2. The reference that struck me was that there were no plants on the earth yet.

Next the Garden is created and plant come forth. The man is placed in this garden to tend it and enjoy its fruits. Animals are created and brought to the man to name but none are found as a suitable helper so God creates Eve from Adam.

Again I am no buff but it could be that Adam and Eve were created before day 6, which if true shows how important we are to God that he puts us first and created a worderful world for us to enjoy, look after and have a visual reminder of how awesome God is.

Interesting discussion. Gen.1;11,12,3rd day. Vegetation growing, and it was good. 6th. day, male and female created. It would appear that man was unnecessary to till for vegetation to grow. So what Adam's purpose - till what ground and harvest what? Matt.9;38, Adam was the first labourer/shepherd re. the harvest of mankind? God declined Cain's offering of the fruit of the ground but accepted Abel's firstlings. 8th. day Adam was the link between the first age/creation and mankind in the flesh?

I see that quite a few of you study with the Shepard's Chapel, I do too. But, I have fact checked the 8th day creation and I have found that, using my large strong's Concordance, I do not completely agree with the pastor. But, I do know that the earth is millions of years old, and I agree with with the men who compiled the original KGV that they did the best that they could in interpertating the languages to give mankind The Word from GOD. Let's remember their knowledge of the universe was limited, they lived in the 17th century. I personally believe that God has "tools" in His tool chest that even modern man can't imagine. Just remember only a few years ago we knew nothing about impregnanting a woman through a test tube, we didn't understand DNA, but guess what FATHER (God) had all of these tools, we are just catching up with that small knowledge.

My point is simple, we need to learn as much about Father and His relm as we can, so argueing about the 6th day creation or the 8th day creation is fruitless. We are all children of God whether we want to be or not, because He put us in to the earth, no matter how we got here. But, to believe on Him and on HIS only begotton son for the remission of our sin is the most important think that we can do in this earth age. And, to take the knowledge that HE gives us through studying and prayer...talking to HIM and asking HIM to reveal things to so that we can pass knowlege of HIM along, withoug brow beating one another and not casting our pearls before swine and not forcing our understanding of HIS work on another is important.

Only by understanding the beginning are we able to understand the end. Conversely, we must understand the end to understand the beginning. Father's purpose for the creation of this world is revealed in Ephesians 3:9-11.

9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So we see that Father's purpose is to show His wisdom, in all its variety, to those who dwell in heavenly places. The challenge by Lucifer to Father's authority and wisdom must be answered once and for all eternity, to prevent a recurrence of such an event at some point in the future. The entire Word of God when taken as a whole points to this as its purpose.

So by creating flesh, Father gave us the opportunity to live temporarily in the world of Lucifer's vision, and thus experience the ultimate result of his (Lucifer's) plan. While Father's creation was perfect, and therefore required no one to till the ground, in His infinite wisdom he knew that upon Satan's arrival upon the earth sin would result, and with it the curse and eventually death. That this need was expressed prior to Adam's fall is just another proof that Father knows all things. Past, present, and future.

How wonderful it is, though, that he made the wages of sin to be death. For it is a mercy that at the end of our days here on this earth we are delivered from sin, and restored (through the blood of Christ) to our perfect existence with Him.

Isaiah 29: 9-14 explains the difficulty many have understanding the Word of God.

9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

As we begin to meditate day and night on Father's word and ask for His divine wisdom, His spirit will guide us into all truth. Without His guidance, it is impossible to understand His word. And to be sure, He will never reveal His most treasured secrets to those whose hearts are only casually committed to Him.

After reading most of these comments that most all who have add comments to this subject believe that the first 6 days were something more than 6 normal earth days. The first commandment to man in the Holy Bible is to be fruitful and multitply. The second commandment was not to eat of the fruit to the tree of truth and knowledge. My question would be, how long were Adam and Eve in the Garden before they eat the forbidden fruit? I do not have the answer to how long Adam and Eve lived in the garden before they eat of the forbidden fruit but I do know that God rested on the last day of the first week in our terms.

People like to make adulterations to the Bible, when people add to God's Word, "the pure mild of the Word" as Peter described it (1 Peter 2:2). The word pure means "unadulterated" or "uncontaminated." The early church had to deal with those who considered circumcision necessary for salvation (Acts 15:1). That idea was rejected because it was not in accordance with the Word of God, which says that salvation is by grace alone. Peter encouraged his brethren in the Lord: "Why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples?... We believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved" (Acts 15:10-11). Examine carefully any teaching that asks you to do anything more than what is in God's Word. Otherwise it can be deadly to your spiritual well-being. The Lord has given man His Word, His will He has Made known; Let man not try to change that Word With words that are his own.

Dr. John, I have no idea as to why you referred me to those Scriptures. If you are implying that I have added to Father's Word, you are mistaken. I did re-read your post, and in fact, it makes even less sense to me now. But, if I have offended you by my post, I am sorry. However, I must insist that we are to use the WHOLE WORD of the Father not just passages that we think we have an understanding of. If you are opposed to me for telling you that the nation of Isreal is 12 tribes, one being the tribe of Juda, and that ALL Father acknowleges ALL of abraham's seed, not just the 12 tribes, then I think you should get a better understanding of Father's Word. I understand that different demoninations teachings may differ, but it is up to us to get a FULL understanding of Father's Word. Jesus said,

John 3:12, "If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?"

The word of God is a two edged sword. Carnal man will never be able to understand what the Spirit is saying because the flesh cannot receive the things of the spirit. Understanding of the Word can only come from God. Man can memorize the scripture, as can Satan. But only when the Holy Spirit interprets it for us can we truly understand it.

As we are told in Luke,

Luke 24:45, "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,"

And in also in Colossians,

Colossians 1:9, "For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;"

James tells us how to gain the wisdom to truly understand the truth of God's word.

James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

Paul instructed Timothy on receiving understanding of the scripture, as well as giving him a warning about those who would teach the scriptures without understanding. (We know there are many churches and even Bible colleges which are guilty, however unintentionally, of this)

1 Timothy 1:7, "Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm."

2 Timothy 2:15, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

It is often offensive to people when their ability to interpret the scripture is challenged. Jesus offended the pharisees so much that they crucified Him. Since a servant is not greater than his master, it is only natural that there are many who are offended when we speak truth which does not agree with the precepts they have been taught. But our God is bigger than any dogma. I was certainly shaken up when I began to realize that all the things I had been taught were wrong. But I thank my Father that He loved me enough to show me my error. As Jesus said,

Matthew 22:29, "Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God."

My prayer is the same as that of Moses,

Numbers 11:29, "...would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!"

After watching Shepherds Chapel and reading and studying with Pastor Murray chapter by chapter and verse by verse I cannot come to any other conclusion but to believe in the 6th day creation and Adam & Eve created on the 8th day. The only way Israel could be kept pure was thru Adam & Eve because the whole theme of the old testament was to keep the race (Israel) pure so our Lord Jesus could be born. I can't believe I got through reading all the comments... But wow!

So. Basically, to recap;

At first God created the heavens and the earth and it was perfect (is this the dino-age?). Then he scraped that and killed everything. Then he did the 7 days thing to redo that perfect thing he'd done before? On the 6th day he made adam & eve from his own image and told them to repopulate the world. Then he waited a while (are we talking a few million or a few thousand years here?) and then told Noah to pick two of each living thing (how did Noah remember - and FIND - two of all the bacteria etc?) and his own extended family (all same race) and put 'em all in a boat (which would have to have been the size of Australia to fit them all). Then he killed everything else and told them to start again.

3 goes? Really? Is this where '3rd time lucky' comes from? For someone who is always perfect? I had a better hit-rate at making things good when I was 3 with and etch-a-sketch!

After all this that took million of years he went and told Moses how he did it (only mentioning the high-lights). Then he entrusted mankind to keep this account of his actions correct to the letter for two thousand years (when I as a joke said "I THINK Emma and Anna had sex last night" it became a city-wide "truth" in hours, not thousand of years) before the bible was written (during which he allowed people to believe in all things except for him), and in the mean time sent a son down to the earth to teach us the ways? A son that could turn water into wine? What was he a drunk?! And then he told all of his chosen cleric to rape and kill like no-one before - in his name - to gain as much power as possi... erm, I mean spread his true word. There has been LESS time between today and when the bible was written than between when he spoke to Moses and when the bible was written.

But NOW we can all suddenly interpret the true meaning what he meant, in this most recent split second (relative to the true age of mankind) of human history?

I will not give the exact chapter and verse in Genesis as I do not have my Bible as I am at a library, but you can find it easy enough. Use Strong's concordance and search for "Seth". It is probable and likely that Adam and Eve and imediate descendants were not as polluted with health problems as the men and women of today. No tobacco, crack or booze existed for quite a while. Even today, children born of incestuous relations are not all deformed or retarded. In ancient times, polygamy was a way of life. Solomon had 700 in his harem. Abraham married his half sister, Sarai. That, too, is in the Bible. Cain's wife was likely, and most certainly, a sister, aunt or cousin. People will try to add to the Bible. Jesus said not a jot or a tiddle shall be added or taken away from God's word, which is the Bible. That would include the Book of Mormon, for example, which is an addition put in place by a charlatan printer named Joseph Smith, a false prophet if there ever was one. Do not be fooled. If it is not in the Bible, do not believe it. The Bible over and over states that Jesus came from the line of David. David slew Goliath and he was Solomon's father. David was a human being. The Bible is history and has been proven by archaeologists and ancient historians such as Herodotus and Eusebius over and over. Luke is considered by many historians as the greatest historians who ever lived. Don't make acceptance of God's written word hard by looking for things which are not in it and which are preached by false profits. Jehovah's Witnesses claim that Michael and Jesus are the same people. Baloney! The Bible plainly states that Michael is an archangel. An archangel is an archangel and not Jesus Christ, who is the Son of Godand is part of the Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Do not be so easily deceived by the ignorant who want to make you as ignorant as they. Read your Bible. Forget the Watchtower Bible. Forget the Book of Mormon. Forget the Catholic Bible. Comnpare the 10 commandements of a Protestant Bible, such as the King James version, with the bible of the Catholics. So that Catholics will purchase and worship graven images which is forbidden in the 2nd commandement. The religious leaders of Catholicism are charlatans feeding on power and money. That does not mean that all Catholics are charlatans. But they are misled if they believe their religious leaders. Praying to Mary and to Saints is idolatry. Mary was a wonderful woman, but Mary and the Saints are quite dead. Mary said she, too, needed a savior. Mary was just a hiuman and not a goddess. It was the Catholic popes who orederd the massacre of milions of innocent Muslims in all four crusades. The Pope is no more infallible than you or I. And the first Christians were not Catholics. They were Jews. They were the disciples. Christianity spread from Israel outward into the lands of the gentiles to include Rome. Think! Read. Do not be fooled into thinking you can buy your way into heaven and out of a nonexistent pugatory. All the priests of the Old Testament were married from Aaron on. Only God can forgive your sins. I can't believe I read half of the comments posted here. Interesting discussion, from topic to another. Different views, different interpretations, different beliefs.

All plausible in my opinion. For example, if the special bloodline of 8th Day Adam and Eve is true, it still fits in the fact and reality that Satan has been trying to destroy that seed right from the beginning because he knew the Saviour will be born from Adam's line.

My point is, everyone is arguing about Adam and Eve when no matter which "theory" is correct, it still does not put everything into complete mess. Is knowing which Adam "theory" is correct a huge matter in our salvation?

Even the chosen people themselves have their own Adam "theory" that is different from the other Abrahamic religions and even Science. (Science itself have different theories as well, mind you.)

Now some will say, if the 8th Day creation is true and that there is a "special" bloodline, then that's unfair! Or then the Nazis are right! Or {put your reasons here}.

So what if it is true? Aren't the chosen people "special"? Wasn't Noah and his family already "special"? And doesn't the mere fact that the Nazis were exterminating the Jews was because they KNEW they are the chosen 'special' people of God, and they want to replace them?

It doesn't matter at all. I am not defending the 8th day of creation, the creation of a special bloodline. I am not defending the "races" defined by newwoman54 either but still it is plausible. Heck, I used to believe the same thing before.

You see, let us not condemn each other here just because we have a different understanding of the book of Genesis. What matters in the Holy Bible is our salvation, nothing else. If there is anything that we should be very crystal clear on - it's salvation.

Some commentaries put too much emphasis on "the chosen" status of the Jews. Israel was comprised of twelve tribes - Judah being only one of those twelve tribes. By the rejection of Jesus as the Christ, the Jews forfeited whatever status existed.

There is another option, Old Earth Creationism.

I believe God created a "pre-adamic" race (probably what we call Neanderthal) and animals including dinosaurs a long time before Adam, then for what ever reason, maybe to bring forth the messiah, he created Adam & Eve 6000 years ago after destroying most or all of the pre-Adamic species by a flood (not Noah's flood)

We know from mitochondrial DNA & Y Chromosome Adam all humans alive today are descendants of one woman & one man, so the pre-Adamic race would not be alive today.

Solomon hints at a race before Adam in Ecc.

Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

Ecc 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

Ecc 1:11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

Solomon says there is nothing in which we can say "this is new", it was done before us (homo sapiens), and that there is no remembrance of former things.

The reason we know this time of no remembrance Solomon is referring to is not the time between Adam and the flood is because we do have a remembrance of that time written in Genesis.

The earth & species are not 6000 years old, Adam & Eve are 6000 years old and the genetic evidence points to this.

"These analyses suggest that the genealogies of all living humans overlap in remarkable ways in the recent past. In particular, the MRCA [most recent? common ancestor] of all present-day humans lived just a few thousand years ago [~3,000] in these models. In Genesis the sixth day is the creation of mankind, Adam and Eve were the two first created, the seventh day God rested(Sunday, or the sabbath) which created the seven day week. Therefore Adam and Eve were created on the sixth day. The bible goes from explaining what god created each day, then into the story of Adam and Eve (the sixth day) and from those two came the races and the rest of the population as Eve was named by Adam due to the fact that she is the "mother of all people everywhere." This is why they say read the Bible carefully and slowly.

All races did not come from Adam and Eve, the Bible clearly states other races were formed on the 6th day. Why is it so hard for people to understand? I think its because people are to lazy to study the Bible, they like to be spoon fed like little babies.

Wow what a loooong post!

According to my understanding and humble opinion,God created the universe.

Evolution took place, under His guiding hand. The Earth was populated by an advanced race, who turned against God, and He destroyed the Earth in the 1st flood.

Then He recreated the Earth in a literal 6 day period. This would explain evolution and bizarre advanced artifacts (like ancient Indian descriptions of areal warefare and atomic blast) that are found worldwide predating the 6000yr timespan from Adam to now.

If you look into Jewish oral tradition you will find that they explain the two different creation times nicely. According to this tradition Adam and the first Woman who they call Lillith were created 1st. " Both Male and Female He created them". But Lillith refused to be subservient to Adam and rebelled against Adam and God, and fled the garden of Eden.

Then God took a rib from Adam and created Eve. Out of them via Noah came all the races. It has been proven that if you look at the Khoi in Sothern Africa you will find traces of all races in their DNA and features. To suggest that the races were created separately is just plain racist.

Out of interest, Eve only got her name AFTER they were banished from Eden.

Cains wife came from family who were in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. Remember, we don't know how many people were born inside Eden. Genesis states that God told Eve that her childbirth would BECOME painful.

Did all races come from Adam? Jesus told a woman, what have I to do with Dogs, I come ONLY for the lost sheep of Israel? Who is Israel? God's people come from Abraham, Isaac (Isaac's Sons are Saxons) and Jacob. Isaiah 29:22 This is what the LORD, who saved Abraham, says about the descendants of Jacob: Jacob will no longer be ashamed. The Bible tells us Christians you will be hated above all others for my names sake. Matthew 24:37 So it was in the days of Noah so will it be in the coming of the son of man. Why would God to kill everyone on earth in a flood, just to re-populate it all over again with sinners? Gen 3:15 and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: he shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. bruise thy head in this verse seems to be the first mention of the coming Messiah who will bruise or crush Satan's head.

Gen. 6:4 also tells us Satan has offspring on earth & Adam in God's image has offspring on earth and God says he will put enmity/hatred/racism between the two offspring. So we all did not come from Adam as the lying preachers have been telling us for 500 years now.

Jonah 3:8 but let man and (beast) be covered with sackcloth, and let them pray mightily to God. Let everyone turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands.

1. 4-legged beast do not have HANDS like a man, they have paws & hooves

2. What cows or oxen can turn from their evil ways and from the violence that is in his hands?

3. What 4-legged beast can speak like a man and pray to God?

4. Do we really think God's people dressed the cows,oxen, donkeys and camels in sackcloth?

These beast are the 2-legged kind created before Adam was placed in the garden. These beast of the field were smart, have hands and the ability to take orders from Adamites to do the heavy labor God intended them for. Adam was to be fruitful & multiply and "subdue" the earth.

So Adam left the garden and the beast of the field that were to work by the sweat of their brows went where?

God destroyed all people in the flood because "all flesh on earth had corrupted it's way". Race mixing the pure blooded image of god with the beast of the field.

Gen 6:12 And God saw the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all "flesh had corrupted" their way upon the earth.

Jeremiah 31:27 God declares: “the days are coming when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast

Men & women have had sex with cows & pigs for thousands of years but the seeds never mixed and produced offspring. What beastly seed can mix with man & produce offspring?

The answer is the 2-legged beast that can wear sackcloth, can speak as a man and pray to God and has hands like a man and can turn from violence like a man and is more subtle than that old serpent.

Jesus had children around him and said, These are the likes of the kingdom of heaven.

So here we have Jesus insinuating heaven is full of children as tho children who die go to heaven because maybe they have not reached an age of accountability?

Jesus said, whoever has seen me has seen God So now in the OT God says, take the children to the edge of town and stone them to death. What!?

Then God says go into the land & kill ALL the cannanites men, women, children & infants and if you don't kill them all they will be as a thickle in your eye & thorn in your side in every land you dwell in with them. Now God is ordering the murder of infants?

People will never understand God's word as long as they keep believing what the preacher in church tells them, and that is, everyone came from Adam. If all came from Adam then God is a psychopathic murderer who belongs in a spiritual straight jacket and thrown in a prison so he can never get out and murder infants to adults breaking his own law of thou shall not kill, and even telling us to go kill infants. God murders hundreds of millions if not a couple of billion people just to leave a few sinners to re-populate the world again with more sinners? All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, so what's the point?. He'd be like some little retarded BRAT God child who escaped from his God parents billions of light years away to come here to this section of the universe to play his evil brat God games with life he created always breaking his own rules & telling us to break the rules also. That kind of God ain't worth the dung that comes out of my dogs rear end, much less any kind of worship, even from the dumbest animals on earth.

But God is no psychopath.

The world was full of mixed races and the only pure blooded Adamites (in God's image) to whom the Messiah was to come was Noah and his family. Satan doing his best to contaminate the Adamite seed in order to prevent the Messiah from being born "The One Who Will Crush His Head" who had to be pure blooded without blemish Adamite stock. That's why God brought the flood to re-populate pure Adamites which the Messiah was come from at a later point in time.

Now doesn't that makes allot more sense than God killing a bunch of sinners, just to re-populate the new world with more sinners again thru Noah? Youtube search " UFO's The Hidden Truth part 2" and hear the old Welsh Preacher. He is one of the few preachers that makes any sense on the matter.

Kirk, am I understanding you correctly that you think only white people are pure blooded? You obviously have never met an Israeli. They are not what you would consider Caucasian! Also remember that Abraham was a Babylonian. They were and are an olive skinned people. I live in South Africa and it always tickles me when ultra conservatives get racist, but still go to church. We call them Sunday Christians. Wonder how they will react when they come face to face with an olive skinned curly haired brown eyed Jesus. Because that is what our Saviour looked like. If he was white, tall, blue eyed as the west depicts him, they would definitely have mentioned His strange appearance in the Bible! & Yes, I am white, blue eyed myself.

In Genesis 1:26-27, it says ha-adam. Which means the adam, or the man. Only one person was created on day 6.

"From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." -Acts 17:26

So it's obvious you are twisting Scripture for your own belief.

Genesis 3:20 states Eve is the mother of all the living.

Would also stand to reason if other humans where made apart from Adam then why are all humans dying? God informed them, Adam than Adam explained to Eve; in the day you eat from the tree is the day you die. He died before he hit 1000yrs which to God is considered a day.

Also, the biblical account of what they were supposed to says not to REPLENISH, the earth but to subdue and REPRODUCE and full the earth... We know reproduction of humans means to give consummate and have children.

Many other mistruths found here of which would take more time than I have this morning.

I understand this belief yet there is one problem with this biblical theory of the 8th day of creation. It does not ever include this part of Genesis.. The part introducing us to the creation of Adam and Eve..

As we can see that Adam and Eve and the whole garden of Eden was created on the 3rd day.. Before the any plants were created.

For from my understanding Eden was in human terms the prototype.. Also For God to make every animal according to their kind they would of need to be named. Adam gave each animal their name so that they could be according to their kind..

Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam CALLED each living creature, that was its name. So Adam GAVE NAMES to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him. NKJV

So one can see that Adam and Eve and the garden of Eden was very special to the Lord for when they were created they were the first of their kind with intimate relationship with God... Making him the son of God..

Now this is why my heart mourns for scripture itself does not support the 8th day theory, yet the 8th day may have been the day of the great fall ..

Vegas, the Bible should be read the way it was written. You wouldn't pick up and read a newspaper the way you would read a play or a scientific textbook. Similarly the passages of the Bible that are written as parable should be read as such. The passages that are history should be read as history. Genesis is written as history.

Evolution has still not been proven as fact and I prefer the eyewitness account found in Genesis over man's "best guess".

Adam is always addressed in the Bible as a singular person. Adam and Eve had children and he died when he was around 900 years old. That's not a race of people, it's a single person. What you're actually teaching is not Biblical. It may be your belief, but it's not mainstream Christianity and it's not found in the Scripture.

Similarly, any account which teaches that Adam is somehow separate from the rest of us is heretical and robs the death and resurrection of its power. Jesus, the second Adam died once for all. Anyone who teaches that Adam is from a second line of mankind is suggesting that we're not part of his sin (and therefore God was unjust in cursing the Earth for a sin we had no part in) and that Jesus died for a separate 'sub-race' and not for all of us.

God created mankind once. We are all descended from Noah through one of his children, and Noah was descended from Adam. We are all created in the image and likeness of God and put here to glorify Him.

Hello. I love Pastor Murray on Shepherd's Chapel, however, I see nothing in the Bible about an 8th day creation. I did a search on the internet, and came across your page. I notice you believe there was an 8th day creation. Yet, nothing in the Bible says there is. Of significance to me, is that the Bible says that on the 7th day, God rested, and goes on to say that He rested from all His work. How would he then "work" again?
